Instead of using my actress name 'Shannon Purdy' as it doesn't sound unique nor fancy. Therefore I found out that shannon's middle name was 'Mariah' and thought that 'Mariah Purdy' sounds professional also I felt the name went with her look and her image that I am trying to portray. The result of creating an artist name I then went on www.dafont.com and searched through many fonts to develop my artist name logo. A specific themes that I went on was Retro and Top and these were my top 7 which I liked.
