FILMING DAY 1 - 1/12/13

The first day of filming was 1 hour getting prepared and ready then 3 hours of filming and taking photos. This was 12:00pm - having to finish at 4:00pm for my cast member to get home for tea. Before my cast member came in the morning I picked out all my shots which my cast member was in and picked the amount of shots which I felt we would be able to succeed and have good filming in the time scale that we had. The majority of the filming was inside my house, however a few photos in my door way and a filming my artist outside walking into the house (whilst taking her heels off at the same time- linking to the lyrics). In the hour of getting ready my cast members hair took 30 minutes, and the other 30 minutes includes, painting nails, choosing the shot, choosing the costume, red lipstick and placing the bow head band on my cast members curly hair.

Before beginning I made sure that she learnt the lyrics basically highlighting the lyric synchronisation so the singing/miming looked believable also I went through the shots of what I wanted her to perform. Then going through what I wanted her to do on the specific shot again on set.
We shot in 2 bedrooms, Outside the front door and in the kitchen.

It was a successful day and went smoothly, but next time for 2nd day filming I will be making sure we have more hours in the day to get more filming and photos finished.

Instead of using a laptop or any other technical device to have the soundtrack on whilst filming, I used my mobile as it's easier for being portable. I used YouTube as it's easy to access and quick to keep stopping,starting and getting the timings on point.
